Screening

The CCC recommends using the NWD Integrative Screener, as a comprehensive and innovative screening method, geared to briefly evaluate and identify client risks in the areas of physical health, mental health, substance use, and exposure to HIV and other STIs.

The NWD Integrative Screener was developed using a variety of well established and validated measures, currently being used by our partners in the community.  This chart displays the various instruments that were used in the development of the NWD Integrative Screener.
  • The row across the top indicates the specific instruments utilized and the health domains assessed for each. (Full versions of some of these measures are linked below)
  • The yellow columns refer to the domains covered in the NWD Integrative Screener.
IS Measures Table
The IS assess each of these health domains within a single screener, whereas it would take multiple instruments to screen the same health domains otherwise.
